
Dr. Sarah Smith has lived in St. Louis all her life.
She received her Bachelor of
Science Degree from St. Louis University and her Doctor of Dental Surgery
degree with highest honors in Pediatrics from the University of Missouri at
Kansas City. Her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry
was completed at the
University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Sarah joined the staff of
Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital as a Fellow in Pediatric Dentistry. After
completing her fellowship, Dr. Sarah taught Pediatric Dentistry at the
University of Connecticut and at Yale University. She is currently teaching at
Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine where she has been a
faculty member since 1999.
Dr. Sarah opened her private practice in St. Peters in June 2000.
As a pediatric
specialist, she is dedicated to the oral health of children from
toddlers to teens. Additionally, Dr. Sarah has the special training
to provide care for special patients who may have
emotional, physical or mental handicaps. Realizing
that each child is unique, Dr. Sarah offers individual
treatment and guidance for your child's dental development and growth.
